    We hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday and will be refreshed for our return to Pre-School on Monday 16th April

    A warm welcome to all our new starters to Pre-School, Rupert, Rosalind and Jack.

    Once again Pre- School is becoming a very busy place, over the holidays we have been taking requests for new starters in September 2018. For those of you staying on at Pre-School we now need to know the sessions you require for September in order to start drawing up a waiting a list. Please fill in the session request form on the notice board or request a form via email if you are unable to come into Pre-School.

    Forest Schools at Pre-School

    Our forest schools program will continue for our rising five children most Wednesday afternoons so please ensure that your child comes with the right clothing. We will now be extending the program to children attending Pre-School on Friday mornings, so more fun in the woods. A good waterproof and wellies are the best bits of items for your child.

    We are hoping for some warmer weather here at Pre-School so if the sun does by any chance start to shine ensure you pack a sunhat for your child. You will also need to pack indidvual sun tan cream for your child which must be placed in the sun tan cream basket clearly labelled with your child’s name.
    Funded children – 30hrs and 15 hours

    Mrs Wood will be in the cloakroom throughout the first week back in order for funded children parents to sign their forms. If you will be receiving funding for your child for the first time please bring in proof of your child’s ID such as a birth certificate or passport. 30 hour chidren if you are continiung with a claim please ensure you have renewed your code. If you wish to claim 30 hours from September 2018 please log into into childcare choices website to obtain a code. https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
    Payment of fees.

    Please note that our fees are paid half termly and you will be sent an invoice via the committee Pre-School email, please ensure that you have this email address as a safe user. Any additional invoices will come from Pre-School email and from Mrs. Pickles.

    We will be enforcing late payment charges to any fees not paid by the specified date on your invoice, please see your invoice for terms of these charges. Please note we accept childcare vouchers please e mail for details.

    Up and coming events at Pre-School

    Peddle power – Monday 23rd April – rising five children only
    – Week c/m 16th April – funded forms to be signed
    – PE sessions start Monday 30th Rising five children only – more information to follow
    – Pre-School closed Monday 7th May

    New Committee members required

    Most of our committee members will be departing at the end of the summer term. We now need some new committee members to ensure of committee members and run Pre-School continues to be the great place it is for all our children. There are some very exciting initiatives coming up here at Pre-School alongside the conversion of Pre-School into an incorporate charity enabling the Pre-School to run free instead by trustees. If you think you would like to join the committee in any way to ensure its future then please see Mrs. Wood or Mrs. Naidoo (Dhruv’s mummy). The time commitment is currently two meetings per term. Pre-School cannot function without these vital committee members.

    Summer camp and adventure Camp

    Summer and camp and adventure camp have now been released to the general public and both are filling up fast. There is still time and applications forms are on the notice board or can be requested via email.

    Tour De Yorkshire

    The tour de Yorkshire will be passing along Denton Road on Friday 4th May. There maybe be disruption to the roads, it is advisable were possible to pick up on foot.
