  • Dear Parents and Carers

    A warm welcome to our new starter James. We hope your enjoy your time here with us at Pre-School.

    We have been busy this half term exploring lots of different things, cars and dinosaurs have featured heavily as part of our children’s interest.

    Thank you to all parents that came to our lantern parade on Saturday the 19th November, we have had very positive feedback with lots of families enjoying the event despite the weather. All funds raised for the event go back into resourcing Pre-School.

    Nativity

    Now Christmas is upon us we will be starting rehearsals for our nativity Humph The Camel. Our nativity will take place at All Saints Church on Thursday 15th December. All children will be taking part and we would like to see as many parents, carers, family and friends attending this very special event. The committee will be sending more details about our fund raising at the nativity.

    The children will be attending the Nativity at All Saints Primary School on Tuesday 6th December to watch the reception class nativity. If your child does not attend on Tuesday morning but would like to attend the nativity as part of Pre-School please let Mrs Wood know. You will have to accompany your child.

    Christmas Lunch

    Our lunch will take place on Wednesday 7th December, the children will have a traditional Christmas lunch—see below for menu and cost.

    Traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings (vegetarian option available)

    Cost £2.00 to include small gift and cracker

    If your child does not normally attend on Wednesday they are more than welcome to join us for lunch ONLY from 12:15 –1:15pm. If you would like your child to attend please in- form Mrs Wood.

    Places in January

    Pre-School is starting to get a busy place if your require any extra sessions in January please inform Mrs Wood preferably by email Any children qualifying for funding in January remember you are entitled to 15 free hours. All funding is claimed by the Pre-School. Mrs Wood will inform you all of the process.

    Starting school in September

    If you child is starting school next September applications are now open Please apply through the council portal https:// www.bradford.gov.uk/bmdc. You will also given extra information via your child.
